Who we are...

• We are a group of individuals who are committed to the interdependent historical relationship of Concerned Tennessee Baptists with the Southern Baptist Convention.

• We are a group of individuals who believe that the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message reflects a clear statement of the beliefs that we hold in common as Tennessee Baptist & Southern Baptist.

• We are a group of individuals who champion a balanced representation of individuals serving in leadership roles on the boards and committees of the TBC.*

• We are a group of individuals who are excited about the many wonderful things God is doing through the churches of the TBC in evangelism, missions, and ministry.

*Note: Balanced representation means that all of our churches should be treated fairly when nominations are made for positions of service within the TBC.  However, doctrinal integrity is also important.  Every person serving should affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message.
